Medusa Missing

Well here I have a problem.  The painting below from what I will call my Medusa moment, was entitled Medusa Misplaced.  ( This whole Medusa thing comes from a visit to Venice and seeing a beautiful Medusa Mosaic in St. Marco in the second floor gallery) . Anyhow, what you see here is the remnant of an attempt to create a small Medusa painting.  I screwed the face. I took a razor to to it and cut it out.  I was left with the outer edges which I could not toss. Now I am considering patching it somehow, and trying to replace what I failed to do more than ten years ago.  Visiting old portfolios can be an inspiration….it seems….
